Taste and See that the Lord is Good
Psalms 34:8

I can’t say I know exactly what David meant when he penned “Taste and see that the Lord is good” in Psalm 34, but I can tell you what it means to me. I don’t view the word taste in this verse as one of your five senses referring only to the food we put in our mouths. Instead, I think it’s all five senses, it is the way we live out our whole life. If I have learned anything in this life,  put simply it’s that the Lord is good. There is pain and suffering yes, but out of those bitter flavors come the sweetness produced by God’s presence. We must be actively looking for His presence in our daily lives with the same fervor we have reading a menu on an empty stomach. This blog is a recounting of how I am tasting and seeing the good that God is doing in my life and an invitation for you to taste and see in your own life the Lord’s goodness.
